The 2007 Psycho Geezer team, here seen posing for team picture at the start of the race. And this was the only posing that this rock solid team did all day, as the PG team ran aggressively all day long, finishing (despite late start time) before dark, in 10 hrs and 38 minutes, smashing the head to head competition (The Mighty Murphs who limped into Golgonda in 10:55).
Many things to say about the Psycho Geezer team at River to River 2007 :
>They had great spirit and lots of attitude.
To those who say -- "They are more psycho than geezer." we say, "The psycho spirit sustains a youthful jest for the race and for the years to come."
>No whining, no squabbles.
> Great team captain, John Stranick, took care of all the pre race logistics, as well as the post race gourmet banquet at the San Domiano retreat center on the banks of the Ohio.
Goals:
Qualify for Boston Marathon 2008.
Break 10 hours at River to River.
